The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Canadian forward Kyle Hunter for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Hunter is currently playing for the Reach Rebels in the East Coast Super League where he has one goal from one game. Prior to that Hunter last played in 2017–18 for the Lambeth Lancers of Provincial Junior Hockey League season where he recorded 26 points from 30 games. He also had a brief one game stint in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League with the London Nationals and a season in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with the Pickering Panthers.
