The CBR Brave have defeated the Brisbane Lightning 6–5 in their exhibition game at Phillip Ice Skating Centre. Julian Fodor and Jackson Gallagher led the scoring the Lightning and Brave respectively, each scoring a hat-trick. The Brave sweep the series of exhibition games against the Lighting having won the first two 5–2 and 6–0 back in March.
