The Adelaide Adrenaline have announced the signing of goaltender Matus Trnka for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Trnka spent 2022 playing for the Adelaide Avalanche in the Pacific Hockey League where he competed in five games, posting a 0.917 save percentage and a 2.81 goals against average. More recently Trnka joined the Adelaide Generals to play in the 2022–23 Australian Junior Ice Hockey League season and was part of the Australian men’s under-20 national team at the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championships.
