The Sydney Bears have announced the re-signing of defender Joey Gunner for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Gunner played 13 games for the Bears in 2022, recording two assists. Since making his league debut in 2018 he has competed in 28 AIHL games and recorded three points.
