The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the re-signing of defender and captain Daniel Pataky for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Pataky played 20 games for the Ice Dogs in 2022, scoring three goals and twelve assists. Since making his league debut in 2015 he has competed 153 AIHL games and recorded 36 points. More recently Pataky was part of the Australian team that competed at the 2023 Trans-Tasman Clash in New Zealand and has been named on the Australian roster for upcoming 2023 World Championships.
