The Adelaide Adrenaline have announced the signing of Taiwanese defender Kevin Yu for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Yu is a former representative of the Chinese Taipei men’s national team having competed at the 2013 IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia, where the team won gold, and the Olympic Games Qualification tournament in 2019. Yu joins the Adrenaline on the AIHL’s new import rule which allows teams to add an additional import if they come from the Asian region and have been playing in a local league of their home country.
