The Brisbane Lightning have announced their team captains for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Damian Bright is named team captain for the second year in a row and Alexander Higgins and Eric Speedie will serve as the two alternate captains. Higgins takes on the position for the first-time replacing Dylan Kendrick while Speedie retains his position from last season.
