The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the signing of forward Lachlan Shumak for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Shumak spent 2022 playing for the Reach Rebels in the East Coast Super League where he scored three goals and four assists from seven games. Shumak previously played two seasons for the Ice Dogs in 2017 and 2018 and has competed in a total of 40 AIHL games and recorded three points.
