The Melbourne Ice have announced the re-signing of forward Mackenzie Caruana for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Caruana played three games for the Ice in 2022, scoring a goal and an assist. Since making his league debut in 2018 he has competed in 26 AIHL games and recorded nine points. More recently Caruana was part of the Australian team that competed at the 2023 Trans-Tasman Clash in New Zealand and has been named on the Australian roster for upcoming 2023 World Championships.
