The Melbourne Ice have announced the signing of German forward Patrick Klöpper for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Klopper spent the 2022–23 season playing for the Hannover Scorpions in the Oberliga where he recorded 59 points from 56 games. Between 2011 and 2023 Klopper has competed in 99 DEL games, 250 DEL2 games, and 204 Oberliga games.
