The Central Coast Rhinos have added Canadian defender Hunter Johnson to their roster for the remainder of the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Johnson last played for the Kelowna Chiefs of the 2021–22 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) season where he recorded two assists from 43 games. Between 2019 and 2022 he has played a season for the Assiniboia Southern Rebels in the Prairie Junior Hockey League and two with the Kelowna Chiefs in the KIJHL.
