2023 Sydney Tange National Championship: 8 July results and standings

Day 3 of the 2023 Sydney Tange National Championship saw the completion of the preliminary round with wins for Victoria and Western Australia. With their win Western Australia finishes at the top of the standings and advanced to the semifinals against the fourth placed Queensland. Victoria finish second and moved through to the semifinal against New South Wales. South Australia finishes the preliminary round in fifth, edged out by Queensland on fewer goals against, and fails to advance.

In the first semifinal Western Australia defeated Queensland 4–1 and in the second semifinal New South Wales beat Victoria 4–3. Competition resumes tomorrow with Western Australia taking on New South Wales in the gold medal game while Queensland and Victoria will play for bronze.
