Forward Ace Cowans has left the Sydney Bears to return home to the United States due to family commitments. Cowans played 20 games for the club between 15 April and 30 July, recording 15 goals and 28 assists. At the time of his departure, Cowans led the Sydney Bears in scoring and ranked twelth overall in league scoring.
