The CBR Brave have defeated the Perth Thunder 4–1 in their semifinal game of the 2023 Goodall Cup playoffs. The Brave had qualified for the match after finishing the regular season in first place on the Rurak Conference standings and Perth had qualified after defeating the Newcastle Northstars in last week’s play-in round. The Brave now advance to tomorrow’s Goodall Cup Final where they will take on the Melbourne Mustangs who had earlier progressed following their win over the Sydney Bears in the other semifinal.
