The Brisbane Lightning have announced their team captains ahead of the 2023–24 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League season which begins on 28 October. Christina Badgley takes on the role of captain, replacing Kelly Costa who held the position last season. Abi Brown returns as one of the three alternate captains. The other two alternate captain roles are filled by Sharnita Crompton and Tracy Hocutt who replace Lindsey Kiliwnik and Dannielle Roberts.
