The Adelaide Ice Arena has been closed until further notice by its operators. Financial problems have been cited as the reason for the closure. The move leaves South Australia without any functioning ice hockey facilities and impacts all of Ice Hockey South Australia’s activities as well as the Adelaide Rush’s upcoming AWIHL games in December.
Update (23 November 2023): The Adelaide Ice Arena will now reopen following the appointment of a new management team.
