The Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) have announced that they are partnering with Skaters Network which will see the company become the league’s official equipment supplier. As part of the deal Skaters Network will present Player of the Month awards and end of season awards for best defence, forward, and goaltender. They will also provide the Joan McKowen Memorial Trophy winning team with custom Bauer gloves worth $5,000.00. The partnership between the AWIHL and Skaters Network follows a similar announcement from Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) on 19 March which saw the company named as the IHA’s exclusive equipment supplier.
