The Melbourne Ice have won the Joan McKowen Memorial Trophy after defeating the Perth Inferno 4–1 in the 2024 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League Final at the O’Brien Icehouse. Melbourne had qualified for the match after defeating the Adelaide Rush in yesterday’s semifinals and Perth had progressed following their semifinal win over the Brisbane Lightning. The win gives Melbourne their first title since 2019 and eighth overall.
