Canberra Brave re-sign Fahmy, Maatouk, and three Kubaras

Canberra Brave have announced the re-signing of Lachlan Fahmy, Bayley Kubara, Casey Kubara, Tyler Kubara, and Joseph Maatouk for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season.

Defender Lachlan Fahmy played 28 games for the Brave in 2023, scoring two goals and ten assists. Since making his league debut in 2016 he has competed in 66 AIHL games and recorded 19 points.

Defender Bayley Kubara played 23 games for the club in 2023, scoring seven goals and six assists. Since making his league debut in 2016 he has competed in 120 AIHL games and recorded 49 points. During the AIHL’s off-season Kubara has been playing for ECW Sande in the Regionalliga where he currently has 17 points from 28 games.

Forward Casey Kubara played 24 games for the Brave in 2023, scoring 16 goals and 41 assists. Since making his league debut in 2012 he has competed in 140 AIHL games and recorded 228 points.

Forward Tyler Kubara played 22 games for the club in 2023, scoring twelve goals and ten assists. Since making his league debut in 2012 has competed in 212 AIHL games and recorded 129 points.

Forward Joseph Maatouk played 14 games for the Brave in 2023, scoring three goals. Since making his league debut in 2019 he has competed in 33 AIHL games and recorded four points.
