The Central Coast Rhinos have announced the signing of French defenceman Aziz Baazzi for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Baazzi spent the 2023–24 season playing for Gothiques d’Amiens in the Ligue Magnus where he recorded a –2 plus/minus and 14 penalty minutes from eleven games. Between 2009 and 2024 he has spent 13 seasons playing in the Ligue Magnus, two in the FFHG Division 1, one in the FFHG Division 3, and a season in DEL2.
Baazzi is also a former representative of the French national team having competed 58 games between 2012 and 2022. More recently he switched his representation to the Tunisian national team where he played in five games at the 2023 Arab Cup.
