The Melbourne Ice have announced the signing of Japanese goaltender Tatsunoshin Ishida for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Ishida has spent the 2023–24 season playing for the Yokohama Grits in the Asia League where he recorded a save percentage of 0.894 and a 4.04 goals against average from seven games. Between 2018 and 2024 he has spent four seasons playing for Kansai University in the All Japan Inter College Championship and two seasons with the Yokohama Grits in the Asia League.
