The Sydney Bears have announced the signing of New Zealand forward Chris Eaden for the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Eaden spent 2023 playing for the Canterbury Red Devils in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League (NZIHL) where he scored 13 goals and eight assists from 13 games. Between 2007 and 2023 Eadan has competed in 16 seasons of the NZIHL and two in the Greater Metro Hockey League. Eaden is also a former member of the New Zealand men’s national team having competed in five World Championships between 2009 and 2019.
