The Melbourne Ice have announced the re-signing of American forward Roman Kraemer for the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Kraemer played in 20 games for the Ice in 2023, scoring 19 goals and 22 assists. During the AIHL’s off-season Kraemer competed in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) and the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL). In the SPHL, Kraemer played twelve games for the Fayetteville Marksmen, recording six points, and three games for the Knoxville Ice Bears, recording three points. He then shifted across to the FPHL where he finished the 2023–24 season playing for the Carolina Thunderbirds, recording 43 points from 44 games.
