Day 8 of the 2024–25 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with the Adelaide Rush defeating the Brisbane Lightning 4–3 in overtime at Iceworld Boondall. With their win, the Adelaide Rush move up to first on the standings, edging out the now second placed Perth Inferno on goal difference. The Sydney Sirens also drop a place as a result of the Adelaide Rush’s win, moving from second to third. Competition resumes on 30 November with the Sydney Sirens hosting the Brisbane Lightning at Macquarie and the Melbourne Ice travel to Adelaide to take on the Adelaide Rush.
