Perth Thunder has announced the signing of American defenceman Jake Hamilton for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Hamilton is currently playing for the Pensacola Ice Flyers in the Southern Professional Hockey League, where he has six goals and twelve assists from 38 games. Between 2014 and 2025, he has spent time playing in the ECHL, NCAA’s Division III, North American Hockey League, Polska Hokej Liga, and Southern Professional Hockey League.
