Day 29 of the 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) regular season has finished with wins for Canberra Brave, Newcastle Northstars, and Perth Thunder. Melbourne Ice continue to lead the standings, holding a twenty-one point lead over the now second placed Perth Thunder. Competition resumes on 13 July with games in Canberra, Newcastle, and Perth.

Today’s game between the Central Coast Rhinos and Perth Thunder also served as Perth’s NAIDOC Week game which saw them wearing a jersey designed by Cassandra Edwards. The jerseys are being auctioned off to raise funds for the Future Footprints Program, an initiative of the Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia. The match between the Brisbane Lightning and Newcastle Northstars meanwhile served as Newcastle’s NAIDOC Week game with the club playing in a themed jersey designed by Nina Ross. The jerseys were auctioned off during the game to raise funds for the local Indigenous community’s access to learning and playing ice hockey in Newcastle.
