Sydney Bears have announced the departure of head coach Christer Nylund due to personal reasons. Nylund, who had held the role since April 2026, leaves the club sitting in fifth place on the standings with a record of three wins from six games. Captain and assistant coach Ryan Annesley will take over as interim head coach.
