Melbourne Ice have re-signed Japanese goaltender Tatsunoshin Ishida for the remainder of the 2026 Australian Ice Hockley League (AIHL) season. Ishida played 26 games for Melbourne in 2025, recording a save percentage of 0.908 and a goals against average of 3.38. Since making his league debut in 2024, he has competed in 55 AIHL games and averages a save percentage of 0.914. During the AIHL’s offseason, Ishida played for the Stars Kobe in the Asia League where he recorded a 0.881 save percentage across 20 games.
