The Melbourne Mustangs have signed Canadian-American forward Brody Crane for the remainder of the 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Crane spent 2025–26 playing in the ECHL for the Jacksonville Icemen and Norfolk Admirals where he recorded a combined 13 goals and 16 assists from 55 games. Between 2020 and 2026, Crane has spent two seasons in the ECHL and four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League.
