2019 AW2SCS: Round 2

Round 2 of the 2019 Australian Women’s Tier 2 Show Case Series has finished with wins for the Melbourne Chargers, New South Wales Bombers, Canberra Pirates and WA Blaze. The Bombers remain on top of the standings at the end of the round, two points clear of the second placed Chargers. Round 3 of the competition is scheduled for 19 and 20 October in Melbourne.

The WA Blaze have released their roster for the second round of the 2019 Australian Women’s Tier 2 Show Case Series which starts 13 July at the Adelaide Ice Arena. Added to their team list are Madelyn Ruscoe and Breanne Smith. While players dropped after being named for the first round are Kelsey Jovanou, Sydney Fricker, Claire Dowling, Georgia Renn and Vivian Vu.

Chargers announce affiliation with the Melbourne Mustangs

The Melbourne Chargers have announced an affiliation with the Melbourne Mustangs of the Australian Ice Hockey League. The announcement was made on 31 May at the Melbourne Mustangs’ game against the Melbourne Ice at the O’Brien Icehouse. For more information see the announcement from the club.
