Australia Men cruise past Belgium

The Australian Men’s team have won their first game of the 2014 IIHF World Championship Division II Group A tournament, defeating Belgium 7-1. Lliam Webster was named best Australian player of the game. With the win Australia move off the bottom of the standings into third place and are currently trailing leaders Estonia by seven points. The team comes up against fifth placed Serbia in their final game tonight. In other games of the day Estonia destroyed Israel 16-3 and Iceland defeated Serbia 4-3 in a shootout.
