The Australian Junior Ice Hockey League have announced the formation of a Tier 2 tournament that will see three teams from non-member states compete for the Wild Card spot in the upcoming 2016 AJIHL playoffs. The Adelaide Generals, Brisbane Blitz and Canberra Junior Brave will compete in a double round-robin style tournament, followed by a top two final, at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre from 28 January to 30 January with the winner being awarded a spot in the playoffs. The AJIHL playoffs begin on the 27 February with the Wild Card winner taking on the team ranked third of the regular season qualifiers.

  • Game 6: Adelaide Generals – Brisbane Blitz (12:10, 30 January 2016)
  • Final: First Place – Second Place (16:00, 30 January 2016)
