Australia U20 lose to Serbia

The Australian men’s national under-20 team lost their fourth game of the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division II Group B tournament, losing to Serbia 0-10. Daniel Pataky was named best Australian player of the match. In other games of the day Spain defeated Belgium 6-1 and Romania beat China 12-3. After the end of the fourth round Australia remain in fifth place, trailing the leaders Spain by twelve points. The teams now have a rest day and return to the ice on Saturday with Australia taking on China in their last game of the tournament.
