Frankenberger resigns as Under-20 head coach

Markus Frankenberger has resigned from the position as head coach of the Australian men’s national under-20 team. Frankenberger was first appointed to the head coach position in 2014 after two years as an assistant to Ryan O’Handley. His best result came in 2015 with Australia earning bronze medal in the IIHF U20 World Championship Division II Group B tournament. Ice Hockey Australia has yet to name a replacement.
