The Australian men’s national under-18 team have won their second game of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division II Group B tournament, defeating Belgium 5-1. Forward Findlay Wood was named best Australian player of the match after scoring four goals. In other games of the day the Netherlands defeated Iceland 5-1 and Spain beat Serbia 4-3. After the end of the second round Australia sit in second place on the standings, trailing Spain on number of goals scored. The teams have rest day today before returning on Thursday where Australia takes on Spain.
