2017 ECSL season: Round 1

Round 1 of the 2017 East Coast Super League season has finished with wins for the Penrith Raptors and Sydney Sting, while the Blueline Bombers and Newcastle North Stars played out a three-all draw. The Raptors take the lead in the standings, edging out the Sting on goal difference. Next week the Rebels take on the North Stars and the Sting host the Raptors with both games being played at the Penrith Ice Palace.
