The Australian national team have lost their opening game of the Trans-Tasman Challenge, losing to New Zealand 1-4. Australia’s goal was scored by Brendan McDowell on an assist from Mitchell Humphries and Thomas Powell. The teams return to action today for Game 2 of the three-game series.
