The Ice and head coach Peter Ekroth have parted ways after being hired at the start of the 2018 season to replace Charles Franzén. Ekroth finishes his short tenure at the club with four wins (two in overtime) and three losses, with the Ice currently sitting in fifth after five rounds. A replacement has yet to be announced.
