The Australian men’s national under-18 team have lost 5-1 to Croatia in their final game of the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division II Group B. In other games of the day the China beat the Netherlands 3-2 and Serbia defeated Belgium 12-2. Australia finishes the tournament in fifth place and will remain in Division II Group B for 2020. Serbia finishes the tournament in first place and gains promotion to Division II Group A, while Belgium finishes last and is relegated to Division III Group A.
