Australians overseas 2020-21: United States (part 1)

Declan Bronte: Third season in the United States. Playing for the Connecticut Chiefs in the Eastern Hockey League Bronte finished the regular season with four goals and 16 assists from 32 games while in the playoffs he recorded an assist from four games.

Tyrone Bronte: Sixth season in the United States. Playing for the University of Alabama in Huntsville in the NCAA Division I system Bronte recorded four goals and nine assists from 22 games. Heading into the 2021-22 season Bronte has signed with Michigan Technological University who also compete in the NCAA Division I.

Owen Dials (NAPHL profile): Third season with the Sabres Hockey Association in Naperville, Illinois. Playing on their under-18 team in the North American Prospects Hockey League’s (NAPHL) 18U Showcase Playoffs Dials posted four assists and 14 penalty minutes in his four games.

James Downie: Fourth season in the United States and second with the Sheridan Hawks. Playing in the North American 3 Hockey League Downie posted a 0.940 save percentage and a 1.61 goals against average (GAA) in his twelve game regular season. In the playoffs he played only one game, recording a 0.800 save percentage and a 6.17 GAA. For the 2021-22 season Downie will relocate to the United Kingdom where he has signed with the Manchester Storm of the Elite Ice Hockey League.
