The Adelaide Xtreme have defeated the Port Adelaide Brewers 7–5 in game eight of the 2021-22 National Hockey Super League season. Following their win the Xtreme move clear at the top of the standings, two points ahead of the second placed Brewers. Competition resumes on 28 January with the Xtreme taking on the Noarlunga Stars.
