The Brisbane Bears have defeated the Brisbane Dragons 6–5 in the third place game of the 2022 Brisbane Blitz Invitational Tournament at Iceworld Boondall. The Bears had finished the round-robin phase of the tournament in third place with one win, while the Dragons entered the game winless in the tournament. Competition resumes this afternoon with the Brisbane Blitz taking on Puckers Ice Hockey in the grand final.
