Day 23 of the 2022 Australian Ice Hockey League season has finished with the Sydney Bears defeating the Melbourne Ice at the Macquarie Ice Rink. With their win the Bears move into second place on the standings, pushing the CBR Brave down to third. The Newcastle Northstars remain at the top of the standings with 30 points. Competition resumes on 9 July with the Sydney Ice Dogs hosting the Northstars at the Macquarie Ice Rink.
The other game scheduled for today between the CBR Brave and Melbourne Mustangs at the O’Brien Icehouse was postponed to a later date due to flight cancellations.
