2022 AIHL season: 23 July results and standings

Day 28 of the 2022 Australian Ice Hockey League season has finished with wins for the CBR Brave and Melbourne Ice while in exhibition play the Brisbane Lightning defeated the Sydney Bears. With their win the Brave increase their lead at the top of the standings and are now four points clear of the second placed Newcastle Northstars. The Ice meanwhile move into fifth place, pushing the Sydney Ice Dogs into last. Competition resumes tomorrow with the Brave hosting the Northstars in the second game of their double header and the Bears take on the Lightning their second game of the weekend.
