Day 2 of the 2022–23 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League season has finished with the Sydney Sirens defeating the Brisbane Lightning 5–4 at the Macquarie Ice Rink. With their win the Sydney Sirens increase their lead at the top of the standings to six points. Competition resumes on 12 November with the Adelaide Rush hosting the Melbourne Ice and the Perth Inferno take on the Brisbane Lightning in Brisbane.
