Day 19 of the 2022–23 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with wins for the Brisbane Lightning and Sydney Sirens. The standings remain unchanged with the Melbourne Ice in first, one point clear of the second placed Sydney Sirens. Prior to the game at the Macquarie Ice Rink the Sydney Sirens held a ceremony to retire the jersey of former captain Amelia Matheson who had announced her retirement from the AWIHL in August 2022. Competition resumes tomorrow with the Brisbane Lightning hosting the Melbourne Ice and the Perth Inferno taking on the Sydney Sirens.
