The final day of the 2022–23 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with wins for the Brisbane Lightning and Melbourne Ice. The Melbourne Ice claim the regular season title’s Keira Gower Memorial Shield after finishing at the top of the standings, three points clear of the second placed Sydney Sirens. It is the Melbourne Ice’s first regular season title since the 2018–19 season and sixth overall. The Brisbane Lightning’s win over the Adelaide Rush moves them into third place on the standings while the Perth Inferno drop to fourth.

The league now takes a one week break before returning on 18 March for the playoffs at the O’Brien Icehouse. In the semifinals the Melbourne Ice will take on the Perth Inferno and the Brisbane Lightning will play the Sydney Sirens.
