The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the appointment of Tomas Manco to the position of assistant coach for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Manco announced his retirement from the AIHL in May 2022 after 14 seasons, 11 of which were with the Ice Dogs. Manco has previously served as an assistant coach for New South Wales at the Phillip Ginsberg National Championships and as a head coach of the Sydney Bears 18U in Ice Hockey NSW’s 18U Midget League.
