2023 AWIHL playoffs: Sydney Sirens defeat Brisbane Lightning in the semifinals

The Sydney Sirens have defeated the Brisbane Lightning 4–1 in their semifinal of the 2023 AWIHL playoffs at the O’Brien Icehouse. The Sydney Sirens and Brisbane Lightning had qualified for the second semifinal after finishing second and third in the 2022–23 AWIHL regular season respectively. The Sydney Sirens now advance to tomorrow’s grand final against the Melbourne Ice who had earlier qualified with their win in the first semifinal. The Brisbane Lightning meanwhile move onto the third-place game against the Perth Inferno.
