2023 AWIHL playoffs: Melbourne Ice defeat Perth Inferno in the semifinals

The Melbourne Ice have defeated the Perth Inferno 5–2 in their semifinal of the 2023 AWIHL playoffs at the O’Brien Icehouse. The Melbourne Ice and Perth Inferno had qualified for the first semifinal after finishing first and fourth in the 2022–23 AWIHL regular season respectively. The Melbourne Ice now advance to tomorrow’s grand final against the winner of the second semifinal while the Perth Inferno move onto the third-place game.
